Accordion Panels

Accordion panels create a list of headings. Each heading has its own main content area, which is revealed when the heading is clicked. When a new heading is clicked, the previous heading’s main content will be hidden. There is a minimum of two and you may not exceed 15 accordion panels. Each panel must have both a heading and content.

To add Accordion Panels:

Select Accordion Panels from the Additional Features (see above for detailed instructions).
Open the box that appears, labelled Add Additional Feature >>Accordion Panels.
Enter the heading for your panel. This will be what the user sees when opening the page.
Enter the content for your panel. When the heading is clicked, this content will appear.
Add additional panels by clicking the green plus sign.

CAT LOVERS ARE SMART

This is where things get controversial. In the study, cat people scored higher on the test of intelligence than dog people. While this doesn’t necessarily hold true to all people in each group, higher intelligence test scores tended to fall within the cat-people category.

It’s no secret, cats can be a bit standoffish. In this same way, their owners tend to be less outgoing as well. Dog owners, however, were found to enjoy the company of others more. A potential reason for this was offered by the Huffington Post, noting that the lifestyle of a dog owner is a bit more active to begin with as owners take their pets outside and to parks where they have more opportunity to socialize with others.

Instructions to set focus for Accordion Panels

This can be used to direct users to a specific accordion panel focus on a page. These are set as external links by adding a small amount of code to the end of a website address (URL):

At the end of the link, add the following: ?accordion="Panel Heading"
- The "Panel Heading" is the heading of the panel for which you wish to set the focus.
