Adding Assets

An asset is any entity within the system that can be used to generate content. For ease of classification, assets are divided into several different groups:

 [image icon] Folder With Index – A folder in which to put web pages and other folders intended for public viewing.

  [image icon] Page – An individual webpage.

  [image icon] Image or Document – May be an image, PDF, Word Document, or other static content/file.

 [image icon] Image or Document Folder – A storage folder to contain images and documents (should be placed in _common).

 [image icon] Block – A "pluggable" piece of content that can be easily substituted, with or without styling, into any page region. As the name suggests, these are simple building blocks used in the creation of more complex items, such as pages.

 [image icon] External Link – a symbolic link to a specific URL outside of your website, appearing as a tab in the navigational menu.
